Information about the soundtrack for the companion e-book to Sarah’s Last Words (Dreams and Short Stories of Sarah’s Last Words).

I began to vision the availability of book soundtrack technology and to research digital publishers during the summer of 2009 for this project. Finally, the technology is here to add real-time, synchronous soundtracks and sound effects to e-book literary works. The wait is over!

Premiere! I’m sharing the first beta interactive multimedia test version of my short story, Gifts. I’ve integrated literary and cinematic elements (music score, ambient effects and sound effects) to this tale to expand and enhance the storytelling experience. It’s all so fresh, and we are all at the beginning of the beginning of this new frontier in self-publishing applications.

Gifts is the top (#1) read booktrack in the romance, short story category!

Feel free to review and leave comments regarding your experience to help fine-tune this new interactive, publishing platform made available by Booktrack™ based in New Zealand.

The next step planned for this project is to review my diaries and short stories as potential content for the companion e-book, Dreams and Short Stories of Sarah’s Last Words, and to use the Booktrack™ platform to create a new soundtrack and sound effects for them. Do contact me if you’re a music supervisor or composer who would like to explore collaborating with me during this phase of the project that will occur after the memoir is published.

Technical notes:
